Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead our Investor & Transaction Advisory activities within the Advisory and Planning team. The role requires broad infrastructure funding/financing knowledge and sector experience across transportation and energy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business finance, engineering or related disciplines.
• 15+ years of relevant post education experience in discipline, in a management consulting, client advisory, or owner capacity.
• Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering due diligence assignments in the Transportation and/or Energy sectors in the last 5 years is essential.
• Experience in managing teams and coordinating delivery of workstreams to tight deadlines.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills in English is required and additional language skills would be desirable.
• Ability to develop client-facing relationships, with confidence communicating effectively with senior management teams of clients.
• A comprehensive knowledge of all major relevant software packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Leading teams and advising clients on integrated commercial, technical, and transaction advisory assignments.
• Coordinating the production of business plans and due diligence reports for Transportation and Energy sectors.
• Developing and managing relationships with existing and new clients; pursuing opportunities and leading conversions.
• Representing WSP at client meetings and guiding project delivery to deadlines.
• Overseeing analysis and preparing high-quality reports that convey complex issues clearly.
