Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with BGCMD's strategic priorities, operational needs, and financial capacity.
  • Establish and maintain architecture standards for enterprise platforms, applications, integrations, infrastructure, identity and access, and data flows.
  • Translate business goals and department needs into practical technology requirements, options, and recommendations.

  • Develop and manage the annual IT budget, lifecycle planning, major technology investments, and long-term cost forecasts.
  • Oversee strategic vendor relationships, contracts, service expectations, escalations, and performance; determine when capabilities should be built internally or supported externally.

  • Provide strategic direction for cybersecurity, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, data protection, backup and recovery, and technology risk.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and privacy considerations are incorporated into technology decisions, vendor evaluations, system changes, and organizational practices.
