Job summary

Diamond Mowers, Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a VP of Information Technology to develop and execute the company’s technology strategy, strengthening performance, cybersecurity, efficiency, and growth. You’ll lead business systems, data and analytics, infrastructure, manufacturing technology, and tech-enabled process improvement.

The VP will steer a lean IT team and partnerships, ensuring security, reliability, and measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years IT leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience leading ERP/MRP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and tech strategy.
• Experience managing third-party IT providers and partners.
• Experience with manufacturing ops, plant systems, MES, OT, or industrial tech.
• Strong data, analytics and BI understanding.
• Experience budgeting and leading large tech initiatives.
• Business acumen and ability to translate needs into tech solutions.
• Action-oriented with up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's IT strategy and multi-year tech roadmap.
• Align IT priorities and investments with company objectives.
• Set IT priorities, governance, and annual budgets.
• Serve as the primary technology advisor to the CEO and leadership team.
• Ensure IT delivers reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
• Own ERP/MRP, CRM, and other core business systems.
• Lead integration of systems and reduce manual data exchange.
• Oversee data, reporting, BI, and analytics.
• Manage third-party IT partners and ensure service delivery.
• Partner with Manufacturing on MES, plant connectivity, automation, and OT.
