Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead statewide specialty-specific operations. You will design and execute strategies that drive financial sustainability, expand access, and align market teams under a unified playbook framework.

In partnership with the Physician Vice President, you will steer hospital-based services, recruit and engage physicians, and promote innovation across the network while ensuring high reliability and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead large-scale hospital operations
• Experience in dyad/shared leadership models preferred
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making

Responsibilities

• Co-lead statewide specialty-specific operational playbooks with PVP.
• Collaborate with cross-divisional leaders to align governance and accountability.
• Drive market expansion, workforce planning, and prioritization with Strategy & Development.
• Optimize productivity, cost-of-care variation, and supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care across markets.
