JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Tampa seeks a Vice President, Assistant General Counsel for Home Lending Litigation to own end-to-end litigation matters, advise on risk, and partner with senior management.

You will work with outside counsel, interpret laws, and provide strategic legal advice to loan origination, servicing, and foreclosure teams. The role rewards independent responsibility, strong writing and communication, and meaningful impact on customers and business partners.

Qualificações

• Minimum of five years post-admission legal practicing experience.
• Juris Doctorate required; licensed to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Knowledge of and experience with complex litigation matters.
• Ability to assume significant independent responsibility immediately.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with legal and non-legal professionals, including senior executives.
• Ability to build and maintain client and colleague relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Managing actual and potential litigation matters.
• Advising on litigation issues affecting loan origination, servicing and foreclosure.
• Managing dispute resolution.
• Interpreting laws, rules and regulations and advising on changes thereto.
• Advising on advocacy in connection with contemplated and proposed laws, rules and regulations.
• Providing legal advice to the business and functions.
• Selecting, engaging, and managing outside counsel for the Firm on matters where engaged.
