Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Vice President, Operations for the Heart & Vascular Service Line to provide system-wide leadership and drive performance across a complex, matrixed health system. You will partner with hospital and academic leaders to advance cardiovascular care, oversee research programs, and translate strategic priorities into actionable operating plans with measurable results.

Qualifications

Master's degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
Minimum five years of progressively responsible healthcare management experience.
Experience in cardiovascular services or service line leadership strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Translate strategic priorities into actionable operating plans with clear goals and metrics.
Partner with hospital executives, physicians, and academic partners to drive service line growth and integration.
Oversee the clinical research program to advance study activation and enrollment across RWJBarnabas Health.
Lead initiatives to improve patient access, scheduling, capacity utilization, and care delivery.
Analyze financial, operational, and research data to identify opportunities for sustainable growth and resource optimization.
Establish dashboards, governance, and reporting to support timely decision-making and accountability.
