RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Senior Vice President of Cardiac Surgical Services to lead a system-wide cardiac surgery program across RWJBH. The role focuses on strategic, clinical, operational, and financial leadership to create a high-performing, integrated cardiac network, spanning tertiary centers and community hospitals.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO and board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery; New Jersey medical licensure required.
• 15+ years of clinical cardiac surgery with 10+ years in progressive physician leadership roles; MBA/healthcare mgmt desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide cardiac surgery strategy with RWJBarnabas Health hospital and physician leaders to standardize care.
• Partner with cardiology, heart failure, vascular, transplant and academics to expand access and centers of excellence.
• Mentor and develop the next generation of cardiac surgeons and physician leaders; drive clinical and operational excellence.
