Job summary

Hammes, a leading healthcare real estate solutions firm, seeks a Vice President, Operational Readiness to lead a growing practice area. You will shape programs, manage staff, and develop client relationships while driving revenue and margins.

You will coordinate activation planning, staffing, training, and regulatory compliance across hospital projects, communicating with executive leadership and ensuring high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field is required.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations and leadership.
• Experience with healthcare projects and people/financial management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client/team use.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with executive healthcare leaders.
• Ability to collaborate with business development for new opportunities.
• Proven multitasking ability to manage projects effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; E-Builder experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and manage the practice’s professionals to support growth.
• Review, mentor, and supervise staff; develop training opportunities.
• Develop and maintain QA/QC program for high-quality client work and billing.
• Promote services through thought leadership and business development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to reach client goals and company success.
• Align with Hammes culture and work with others to achieve goals.
• Lead the practice to achieve margin goals and revenue targets.
• Staff projects to meet margin and delivery quality standards.
• Report results and initiatives on a quarterly basis.
