Job summary
American Institutes for Research is seeking a Vice President, Program Lead for the Healthcare Innovations program. This leader will oversee people, projects, and business development, guiding health economists, data scientists, and researchers to advance evidence-informed healthcare delivery and payment reform.
The HI Program Lead reports to the Chief Program Officer and collaborates across AIR to ensure quality, client satisfaction, and program growth.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health economics, health services research, or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years designing and evaluating health care delivery and payment programs.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Subject matter expertise in health economics and healthcare models including CMMI.
- Proven track record leading proposals and managing teams.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements new business plans and strategies for the HI program in collaboration with senior leaders.
- Leads execution and management of the HI Program's projects, people, and pursuits.
- Serves as SME in health economics, healthcare delivery, and Medicare/Medicaid policy.
- Provides strategic leadership in design and evaluation of healthcare delivery and payment models.
- Develops operational plans and budgets for the HI Program.
