Job summary

Versant Media in New Jersey is seeking a Vice President, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to lead the cyber risk program across brands and business units. You will set strategy, mature risk frameworks, and align governance with the broader Cyber organization.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in a leadership role across cyber security disciplines including governance, risk, compliance and audit.
Experience leading external audits and regulatory reviews across complex business processes.
Proven ability to develop governance policies, compliance programs and board reporting formats.
Strong track record building risk management frameworks and incident response coordination.
Experience with M&A security evaluations and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Set the strategic direction of the GRC organization and align with Cyber strategy.
Transform maturity of risk management lifecycle and operational processes.
Direct cross-business engagement and prioritization across GRC services.
Manage outsourced services and staff to improve efficiency and coverage.
Evaluate security risk across brands and establish accountability for risk acceptance.
Foster collaboration across business lines and drive an inclusive defense mission.
Maintain feedback loops with partners and translate input into actions.
Lead and develop staff while maintaining high performance and inclusion.
