Job summary

Orbis is seeking a Vice President to serve as its principal technical authority for international and commercial programs, translating complex technology into client-ready solutions and accountable delivery. You will shape strategy, drive execution, and lead senior technical teams across global engagements.

You will operate at the intersection of technology, mission, and business, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes while expanding Orbis’ footprint with allied nations and commercial clients.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of combined operational and technical experience in defense, intelligence, international, or commercial tech programs.
• Meaningful time in special operations, the intelligence community, or federal law enforcement.
• Recent operational exposure and ability to discuss current mission problems with clients.
• 5+ years in a senior technical leadership role with delivery ownership and client relationships.
• Current passport and travel flexibility; active TS/SCI clearance required.
• CI or FS polygraph preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical strategist for international and commercial portfolio, shaping solution strategy to win new business.
• Own technical standards governing end-to-end delivery across programs; act as final technical approver on designs.
• Manage program-level accountability for technical quality and client satisfaction; lead delivery leads.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across allied defense and industry partners.
• Evaluate emerging technology and shape product prioritization with Product Managers.
