Oros Search is seeking a Vice President of Tax for a leading CPG company in Manhattan. You will oversee the domestic and international income tax function, guiding planning, compliance, tax accounting, transfer pricing, and financial reporting under ASC 740.

You will partner with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and business leaders to optimize tax strategies, manage risk, support transactions, and improve tax processes. External providers and M&A support are included in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant tax experience, including public accounting and corporate tax leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of domestic and international taxation, including ASC 740, tax compliance, tax planning, and transfer pricing.
• Prior experience in the retail, consumer products, or a related industry preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation and review of income tax provisions (ASC 740), tax disclosures, and related financial reporting.
• Partner with FP&A and Treasury on tax forecasting, cash tax projections, and financial close.
• Maintain internal controls, reconciliations, and tax reporting processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and respond to tax accounting inquiries from senior management.
• Develop and implement domestic and international tax strategies to optimize cash taxes and the effective tax rate.
• Identify tax incentives, manage tax attributes, and assess impact of new tax legislation and regulatory developments.
• Partner on strategic initiatives and mergers & acquisitions; oversee tax aspects of significant transactions.
• Lead initiatives involving legal entity rationalization and tax process improvements.
