Job summary

Alight Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Tax to lead the global tax function, drive income tax accounting and compliance, and steer transfer pricing initiatives in a large, public company setting.

The role requires deep expertise in U.S. federal taxation, ASC 740, and coordination with Finance, Legal, HR, and business partners to support strategic initiatives and tax planning across international operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field required.
• CPA, JD, or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience, including a combination of public accounting, law firm, and multinational corporate tax experience.
• Deep expertise in U.S. federal income taxation and ASC 740 tax accounting.
• Experience overseeing global transfer pricing programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of global income tax accounting and reporting under ASC 740.
• Oversee preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions, tax-related SEC disclosures, effective tax rate analysis, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure appropriate accounting and reporting for uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, deferred tax assets and liabilities, and tax law changes.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Treasury, and Internal Audit teams to ensure accurate financial statement reporting.
• Lead tax due diligence and integration efforts with acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions as needed.
