Job summary

The Goldman Sachs Group is seeking a results-driven Senior Procurement & Supplier Relationship Manager to lead strategic vendor management within Global Banking & Markets. You will build strong relationships with key suppliers, drive cost savings, and mitigate third-party risks through data-driven governance.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, define performance metrics, and guide cross-functional teams to maximize supplier value while ensuring compliance and operational resilience

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record.
• 8+ years of procurement/supply chain experience focusing on strategic suppliers and third-party risk.
• Proven track record managing complex, high-value supplier relationships and delivering measurable value.
• Proficiency with SRM software, e-procurement platforms, and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships across a portfolio of strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and accelerate in-contract value opportunities—performance improvement, innovation, risk reduction, and sustainability—while measuring SLAs & KPIs.
• Establish and regularly assess performance and risk metrics to ensure vendor reliability.
• Provide regular reporting on supplier performance, risks, and value creation initiatives to senior leadership.
• Lead vendor meetings and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to maximize supplier value.
• Identify potential areas to create operational efficiencies and automate processes.
• Stay abreast of market trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
