Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a seasoned executive to lead quality, compliance, and governance across its global Medical Segment. The VP will shape strategy, drive QMS maturity, and ensure patient safety and product quality while partnering with cross-functional leaders.

This role requires extensive regulatory expertise, global leadership, and a track record of driving enterprise quality transformations in a regulated healthcare environment. Significant travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in Quality Assurance, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or Quality Systems in regulated healthcare.
• Deep expertise in medical device regulations, quality systems, and global compliance requirements.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence regulators, customers, and senior leadership.
• Experience leading regulatory inspections, audits, remediation efforts, and quality transformations.
• Willingness to travel globally—roughly 20%.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute a global quality, compliance, and governance strategy aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the advancement of enterprise Quality Management Systems to support innovation and growth.
• Drive a culture of accountability, patient safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Serve on the senior quality leadership team, guiding enterprise priorities.
• Oversee Design Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Assurance, QMS, and Post-Market Surveillance.
