Job summary

Cardinal Health’s GMPD segment seeks a strategic leader for the role of Vice President, Quality, Compliance & Governance, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs. This executive will shape the global quality strategy and oversee critical functions across Design QA, QMS, supplier quality, and post-market surveillance.

The role partners with cross-functional leaders, drives a culture of quality, and prepares for regulatory inspections while enabling growth

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Quality Assurance, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or Quality Systems within regulated healthcare.
• Deep expertise in medical device regulations, quality systems, and global compliance requirements.
• Ability to influence senior leadership, regulators, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Experience leading regulatory inspections, audits, remediation efforts, and enterprise quality transformation initiatives.
• ASQ certifications or other relevant quality certifications.
• Willingness to travel globally – roughly 20%.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute a global quality, compliance, and governance strategy aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the advancement of enterprise Quality Management Systems to support innovation and growth.
• Oversee Design Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Assurance, QMS, Post-Market Surveillance and related functions.
• Partner with executive leaders across Operations, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Commercial, and Supply Chain to achieve objectives.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing global quality organization.
