Job summary

State Street seeks a VP of Software Sourcing in the United States to own end-to-end procurement for software and cloud engagements. Based in the John Adams Building in Quincy/Boston, the role leads negotiations, data-driven savings, and vendor management across global IT vendors.

You will work with Legal and IT Security to finalize Master License and Cloud agreements, while building relationships with key stakeholders and delivering strategic cost savings in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic IT sourcing experience with cloud software knowledge.
• Broad understanding of global IT vendors.
• Proven track record of delivering P&L savings.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct negotiations and manage large and complex agreements.
• Identify and deliver savings through stakeholder engagement and data analysis.
• Draft and negotiate Master License and Cloud agreements with Legal support.
• Negotiate IT security schedules with IT Security and Legal SMEs.
• Build stakeholder relationships across Boston locations with a senior-level touch.
• Develop vendor relationships with key infrastructure and security vendors.
• Identify risks and opportunities to achieve financial objectives; mitigate risks.
• Contribute to P&L and cost avoidance for the team.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities to reduce cost base.
• Coordinate RFx/competitive bids to optimize cost and service.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Learn State Street end-to-end processes to gain savings and delivery results.
