Job summary

State Street is seeking a VP of Software Sourcing based in Stamford, CT. You will lead end-to-end procurement for software and cloud engagements, negotiating complex agreements and driving savings with global IT vendors.

You will develop and implement category strategies, collaborate with Legal and IT Security, and influence stakeholders across the organization to deliver cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT strategic sourcing with cloud software knowledge.
• Experience negotiating large and complex IT/software/cloud agreements.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder engagement and data analysis.
• Proven track record delivering P&L savings.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct negotiations on large software and cloud agreements.
• Identify savings opportunities via data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Draft and negotiate Master License and Cloud agreements with legal support.
• Coordinate RFx/competitive bids to optimize cost and service.
• Manage vendor relationships with IT infrastructure and security vendors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal processes.
