Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President to lead the Global Data Center & Cloud Network team, focusing on hybrid cloud networking, security, and network infrastructure design standards and implementation. Ideal candidates bring deep knowledge of multi-cloud networking constructs across AWS and Azure, on-prem connectivity, core routing, and VXLAN/EVPN with BGP.

You will influence cross-functional teams and drive scalable, automated network solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years' network experience.
• Expertise in AWS and Azure networking concepts.
• Experience designing hybrid extranets and data center topologies.
• Proven ability to develop design and configuration standards documentation.
• Vendor management, cost analysis, and RFP experience.
• Strong communication with cross-functional and cloud provider teams.

Responsibilities

• Development and deployment of hybrid network design standards.
• Expertise in deploying WAN and data center connectivity and routing principles.
• Design, implement, and support the network infrastructure based on defined standards.
• Articulate network design principles to cross-functional teams and cloud provider teams.
• Act as escalation point for cloud performance and connectivity.
• Participate and approve networking updates via CI/CD Pipelines and git workflows
• Drive implementation of global hybrid connectivity to Cloud Providers via dedicated circuits (ExpressRoute, FastConnect, DirectConnect)
• Subject matter expert in cloud routing platforms such as AWS CloudWan and Azure vWAN
• Experience deploying Cisco VxLAN/EVPN /BGP environments
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards
• Leverage network tools to automate, manage, and troubleshoot the network
• Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams
