Job summary

State Street seeks a Vice President to lead hybrid cloud networking design standards and implementation. You will guide WAN and data center connectivity, routing principles, and security compliance across multi-cloud environments.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in networking, experience with AWS/Azure networking, and scripting in Python and Terraform. You will work with cross-functional teams and cloud providers to implement scalable, secure network architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years in network industry.
• Experience with AWS and Azure network concepts.
• Basic knowledge of python and terraform scripting.
• Experience with large scale application migrations to cloud.
• Knowledge of hybrid extranet and internet topologies, design, and implementations.
• Proven experience in developing design standards and configuration standards documentation.
• Vendor management, cost analysis, and RFP frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Development and deployment of hybrid network design standards.
• Expertise in deploying WAN and data center connectivity and routing principles.
• Design, implement, and support the network infrastructure based on defined standards.
• Articulate network design principles to cross-functional and cloud provider teams.
• Escalation point for cloud performance and connectivity issues.
• Participate and approve networking updates via CI/CD pipelines and git workflows.
• Drive global hybrid connectivity to Cloud Providers via dedicated circuits (ExpressRoute, FastConnect, DirectConnect).
• Act as SME in design and implementation of cloud routing platforms such as AWS CloudWan and Azure vWAN.
• Ensure compliance with cyber security standards.
• Leverage network tools to automate, manage, and troubleshoot the network.
• Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
