Job summary

Citi in Jersey City, New Jersey, is seeking a Full-Stack Web Application Developer with Angular and Java expertise at Vice President level. The role is hybrid with a focus on leading development projects and aligning them with Citi’s architectural blueprint.

The Senior Applications Development role requires 6–10 years of experience, SME capability, and strong communication. It includes risk awareness and collaboration across engineering, architecture, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• SME in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure integration of functions and define system enhancements
• Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business and system processes
• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure design aligns with architecture
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of how business areas integrate to meet goals
• Provide in-depth analysis and innovative issue resolution
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, policies and controls
