Job summary

Travere Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases, is seeking a VP, FP&A to partner with the CFO and drive the company’s long-term financial strategy. You will guide budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation while supporting strategic investments and corporate development initiatives.

You will lead a high-caliber Finance team, develop advanced financial models, and provide decision support across R&D, commercial, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or related field required.
• MBA, CFA or similar advanced credential preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible finance leadership experience, including senior roles in biotech/pharma.
• Experience leading FP&A, budgeting, forecasting for a publicly traded biotech/pharma company.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership and boards for strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Company's financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance reporting.
• Serve as strategic advisor to CFO and Executive Leadership Team on enterprise strategy and capital allocation.
• Lead resource allocation and portfolio analyses to optimize investments across R&D, commercial, manufacturing, and corporate functions.
• Represent Finance with investors, banking partners, auditors, and Board.
• Lead financial evaluation, due diligence, and integration planning for M&A and strategic collaborations.
• Develop and enhance integrated financial models, KPIs, and analytical tools to improve forecasting and visibility.
• Oversee monthly business reviews, executive reports, and Board materials with actionable insights.
• Support capital markets activities and align plans with business priorities.
• Collaborate with R&D, Commercial, Legal, HR, IT, and Accounting to ensure financial alignment with strategy.
• Mentor and develop Finance team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
