Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a Vice President, FP&A to lead the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for a growing biotechnology company. You will partner with the CFO and executive team to drive strategic decision-making and capital allocation across R&D, clinical development, and commercial operations.

You will develop sophisticated financial models, manage long-range planning, and oversee reporting to the Board.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field is required.
MBA, CFA, or other advanced credential preferred.
Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible finance leadership experience, including senior leadership roles in biotech/pharma.
Experience leading FP&A, budgeting, long-range planning, and financial performance management for a publicly traded biotech/pharma company.
Experience partnering with executive leadership and the board to support strategic planning and value creation.
Experience developing financial models, scenario analyses, and capital allocation frameworks.
Experience supporting business development activities, including financial due diligence and M&A.
Strong understanding of biotech financial drivers (R&D investment planning, clinical economics, manufacturing).
Experience supporting capital markets activities and investor communications.
Proven track record leading and developing high-performing finance organizations.
Experience implementing planning systems and BI capabilities.
Prior experience in a commercial-stage biotech/pharma company preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the Company's FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and reporting.
Act as advisory partner to CFO and senior leadership on enterprise strategy and capital allocation.
Oversee portfolio investment analyses across R&D, commercial, manufacturing and corporate functions.
Represent Finance to investors, banks, auditors, and Board members.
Lead M&A evaluation, due diligence, and integration planning.
Develop advanced financial models and KPIs to improve forecasting and visibility.
Oversee monthly reviews, executive reporting, variances, and Board materials.
Support capital markets activities and financing transactions.
Collaborate with leaders across functions to align financial plans with business priorities.
Ensure alignment between planning, reporting, and external guidance with operations.
Mentor and develop Finance team and foster collaboration and accountability.
