Job summary

Mizuho Americas seeks an experienced Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis to partner with business leaders and corporate functions in New York. The role emphasizes planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and clear management reporting using modern financial tools.

You will drive headcount and expense insights, support cost allocations, and build executive presentations while leveraging AI and data visualization to enhance insights and automation across FP&A processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
MBA, CPA, CFA or similar is a plus.
10–15 years of FP&A, business finance or related experience.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling and management reporting skills.
Experience with Power BI, data visualization, and executive dashboards.

Responsibilities

Lead annual planning, budgeting and forecasting processes with stakeholders.
Analyze actual vs forecast performance; identify drivers, risks and opportunities.
Develop management reporting, dashboards and executive presentations.
Analyze personnel and non-personnel expenses, including headcount and consulting spend.
Support cost allocation and profitability analysis across businesses and entities.
Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis; support decision making.
Leverage AI/automation to improve analysis, reporting and productivity.
Drive adoption of dashboards and data-visualization tools, including Power BI.
