Job summary

Mizuho is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis professional to deliver IT financial reporting and insights for senior executives in the Americas. The role focuses on IT towers, expense types, and performance trends, with opportunities to define enhancements and automate processes using AI.

The candidate will partner with Technology, Accounting and other business teams, bringing strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, attention to detail, and clear communication to drive strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of specific roles in business planning, budgeting and/or financial analysis required.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret a wide range of financial information.
• Experience in project planning and management is required.
• Extremely process oriented with an ability to help improve and design new processes
• Capacity to multi-task and deal with shifting priorities, while always maintaining focus on delivering timely information to management or other key stakeholders.
• Ability to articulate thoughts and communicate in a clear and concise manner, across all levels in the organization.
• Desire to work proactively and contribute to business growth and transformation.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with OneStream Planning/Essbase a plus.
• Ability to represent Finance and work effectively with Technology, Accounting, Legal and cross-functional business teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT financial reporting with detailed views across IT towers and expense types for senior management.
• Help define enhancements and build processes around IT reporting, including automation and AI.
• Create management reporting and analysis on performance, expense trends, and resource use for strategic discussions.
• Collaborate with Technology, Accounting, Legal and cross-functional teams to ensure timely information.
