Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. is seeking an AVP in Workforce Planning within FP&A in New York, NY. The role focuses on advancing analytics for workforce forecasting and budgeting and collaborates with HR and business leaders to inform decisions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in planning or financial analysis, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience with workforce analytics. This is a hybrid role with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business planning, budgeting or financial analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret a wide range of financial information.
• Experience in project planning and management is required.
• Extremely process oriented with an ability to improve and design processes.
• Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities while delivering timely information to management.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with OneStream Planning/Essbase is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create management reporting and analysis for senior leadership to understand performance and trends.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to forecast workforce needs and budget accordingly.
• Develop and improve workforce planning analytics and process, supporting transformation initiatives.
• Present findings clearly to executives with concise written and visual materials.
