Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. seeks an AVP to support Banking FP&A for US Operations in the Investment and Corporate Banking line of business. The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting with close collaboration across Finance teams and alignment with head office in Japan.

The ideal candidate has banking industry experience, strong data abilities, and proficiency in ERP/BI tools. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in New York and a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or business-related majors required.
• 3+ years in financial/bank services with budgeting/forecasting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management on a weekly/monthly/annual basis.
• Develop detailed budget vs actual variance analyses and monitor LOB performance.
• Enhance reporting and budgeting processes; liaise with cross-functional partners and HO (Japan) on data requirements.
