Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Research Technology team in New York. You will architect and implement AI-driven search and distribution pipelines, mentor juniors, and partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and observable solutions.

You will apply expertise in LLMs, RAG, tooling integration, and modern cloud technologies to advance AI initiatives across the Research department in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with AI/GenAI solutions and LLM integration.
• Experience building scalable search/distribution systems.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring ecosystem.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, ML tools, and RAG concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on technical work and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with product leads to drive AI initiatives in Research.
• Deliver scalable AI-enabled search and distribution capabilities.
• Champion best practices for AI-enabled SDLC, cloud, and observability.
