Ashley Furniture is seeking a Vice President of Fleet Maintenance to own enterprise fleet maintenance strategy, governance, and cost optimization. The role partners with distribution, transportation, safety, procurement, and finance to drive uptime and safe, reliable delivery.

The position requires strategic leadership across multi-site operations, with a focus on asset lifecycle, vendor management, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in fleet maintenance or asset-intensive environments.
• Strong strategic and operational leadership capability.
• Deep understanding of fleet maintenance, asset lifecycle management and preventive maintenance systems.
• Strong financial acumen including cost modeling, ROI analysis, and vendor negotiation.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Disciplined, execution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise fleet maintenance strategy, governance, and standardization across shops and external vendors.
• Own total cost of ownership strategy for fleet assets and lifecycle planning.
• Define vendor strategy for parts, labour, tools, warranties, and outsourced maintenance; negotiate terms.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, licensing, inspection, and audit processes across fleet operations.
• Develop and lead fleet maintenance leadership teams; set performance metrics and accountability.
