Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President-Firmwide Data Owner Lead within the Firmwide Chief Data Office to drive the Data Ownership framework across the bank.

You will partner with senior leaders to design, implement, and evolve governance that scales and delivers measurable business impact. You will lead cross-functional teams, standardize roles, and create actionable reporting for regulators and executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience delivering programs in a risk management environment.
• Proven leadership and ability to influence across teams.
• Structured, critical thinking approach to programs.
• Strong communication skills for senior management.
• Ability to manage multiple demands under pressure.
• Experience creating policies and standards for broad user base.
• Autonomous self-starter able to work with discipline.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of Data Owner implementation across lines of business and corporate functions.
• Partner with technology to build tools to centrally track Data Owners and associated entitlements or deliverables.
• Analyze and enhance governing documents so that the Data Owner program provides a practical, simple, and effective framework for data management that delivers business impact.
• Normalize roles and responsibilities related to the Data Owner role to support the streamlining and transparency of data risk management oversight.
• Create metrics and summarized materials to support senior and executive presentations and reporting.
• Develop and lead firmwide data governance initiatives to improve data risk management.
• Partner with Technology, Risk, Business Operations, and data leaders across lines of business and corporate functions.
• Support regulatory, compliance, and audit requests.
• Deliver centralized Data Owner training program and communications created for the benefit of line-of-business and corporate-function stakeholders.
• Manage a team to support the goals of the governance program and stay informed of regulatory and industry developments impacting data governance and management.
• Support other data governance initiatives, as needed.
