Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Vice President to lead data governance initiatives, partnering with the firmwide CDO to define governance and tooling requirements and build out the Firmwide Data Lineage framework.

You will drive adoption across LOBs and Corporate Functions CDO Offices, ensuring data quality and governance across critical data flows. The role focuses on governance framework definition, collaboration with stakeholders, and driving alignment with regulatory and risk requirements while

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in data/analytics/product leadership
• Strong understanding of data governance, data lineage and metadata management concepts
• Hands-on experience with data lineage including CDE identification and tracing
• Experience with Collibra, Alteryx or Databricks in enterprise environments
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CDO office to drive adoption of the firmwide Data Lineage framework
• Document data lineage for critical data flows and establish governance processes
• Develop best practices for metadata management, data lineage and data quality controls
• Provide advisory services on complex lineage initiatives through architecture analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define ownership and timelines for initiatives
• Build partnerships with Technology, Controls, Product and Data Owners across lines of business
• Monitor and report on data lineage governance metrics and compliance
• Support strategic initiatives within the Data Governance team
