Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President, data owner in Asset Management Operations to lead data management activities supporting holdings, transactions, performance, and attribution data.

You will drive domain strategy and modernization while balancing quality, risk, and delivery outcomes. You will translate complex data topics into crisp decisions for senior stakeholders and strengthen data products that enable transformation and responsible analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in a data-related role within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
• Experience in asset management operations, data management, or a closely related function.
• Domain knowledge of holdings, transactions, performance, and attribution data.
• Proven ability to manage delivery across multiple workstreams with varying priorities and complexity.
• Strong cross-functional partnership and influence skills across seniority levels.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making capability in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive data domain strategy with scope, boundaries, and target-state approach.
• Own the domain’s data landscape and modernization path including migration from legacy systems.
• Define and govern critical data elements; strengthen lineage and documentation for regulatory and business needs.
• Own and evolve core domain artifacts like data dictionaries and data quality rules.
• Establish and enforce data contracts between producers and consumers, ensuring quality and accessibility.
• Lead and scale data products by translating user needs into reusable requirements for analytics use cases.
• Oversee data risk posture and metrics; participate in governance forums and remediation tracking.
• Set direction for product owners and drive execution of enterprise data management policies and principles.
