Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President-Firmwide Data Owner Lead within the Firmwide Chief Data Office to drive data ownership governance and risk management across lines of business and corporate functions.

You will partner with senior leaders to design, implement, and evolve the Data Ownership framework, enabling transparent reporting, regulatory readiness, and measurable business impact through practical policies and prioritized initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in program management within a risk management environment.
• Ability to design and implement policies and guidance for data governance.
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership across Legal, Compliance, Controls, Technology, and Business Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the roll-out of Data Owner implementation across lines of business and corporate functions.
• Partner with technology to build tools and capabilities to track Data Owners and entitlements.
• Analyze and enhance governing documents to deliver a practical and effective data ownership framework.
• Normalize roles and responsibilities to improve risk management oversight.
• Create metrics and materials for executive reporting and governance oversight.
• Develop and lead firmwide data governance initiatives to improve data risk management.
• Support regulatory, compliance, and audit requests.
• Deliver centralized Data Owner training and communications for stakeholders.
• Manage a team to support governance goals and stay informed on regulatory developments.
• Support other data governance initiatives as needed.
