Job summary

Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. in New York is seeking a VP, Underwriting - Financial Institutions to lead and underwrite a profitable FI book, within authority and guidelines. The role reports to the SVP Head of Financial Institutions and supports a hybrid work arrangement near NYC or Chicago.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years FI underwriting, established broker network, and ability to drive growth. Base salary ranges from $220,000 to $275,000 with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Financial Institutions underwriting experience preferred.
• Established network of broker relationships within FI underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Review submissions for alignment with risk appetite and strategy.
• Develop broker/wholesaler relationships nationwide.
• Generate new FI business through broker/client networks.
• Analyze complex FI risks and unusual transaction structures.
• Mentor and coach junior underwriters.
