Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a Data Platform Product Manager to define requirements and partner with Technology to build next-gen finance data management solutions.

You will own the product roadmap, break it into development and release plans, and manage day-to-day delivery while coordinating with senior stakeholders. You will collaborate across Corporate Technology and Financial Analysis, leveraging an Agile SDLC to ensure quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a technical field.
• 8+ years of work experience in technology, data management, product management and/or finance; within the financial services industry.
• Experience with cloud-based Big-data platforms and products.
• Strong understanding of Data Management concepts - ETL/ELT, data quality, governance, catalog, versioning.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated with track record delivering programs under pressure and tight timelines.
• Inquisitive, team-oriented and innovative thinker.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and be an innovation driver.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Technology to modernize the finance data platform and support data onboarding, quality, governance, and distribution.
• Analyze customer needs and prioritize features to meet demands.
• Document requirements and lead backlog refinement by breaking Epics into user stories.
• Provide on-time reporting and keep stakeholders informed of priority changes.
• Identify and support process improvements for the data platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data, process, and platform requirements and deliver data services.
• Leverage analytics and testing skills to support delivery in an Agile environment.
• Operate within a fast-paced Agile framework.
