Job summary

Suddath is seeking a Vice President of Final Mile Operations to lead the nationwide final mile delivery network, ensuring profitability, quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction across markets. This field-oriented leader will drive scalable growth and set operating standards.

Preference for Texas markets; Dallas, Austin or Houston; regular travel between field operations; strong financial acumen and data-driven decision making required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Ten+ years of leadership in transportation, logistics, or related operational environments.
• Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse, transportation, and delivery operations across the network.
• Own service performance, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive profitability and manage revenue, costs, and budgets.
• Lead contractor network management and compliance.
• Develop high-performing leaders and teams; foster accountability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
