Job summary

Worldpac is seeking a Director, Final Mile Delivery Optimization to lead the development and execution of our nationwide final mile strategy across 320+ branches. You will standardize routing, implement technology solutions, and drive improvements with operations, sales, IT, and customer experience teams.

The role requires 8+ years in transportation/logistics, MBA preferred, and 40–50% travel to branches to enable execution and coaching of leaders across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years in transportation, logistics, or final mile in multi-site environment.
• Experience shaping transportation strategy and improving large networks.
• Strong knowledge of routing optimization and dispatch operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead final mile strategy across 320+ branch locations.
• Standardize routing, dispatch, and delivery windows.
• Evaluate and implement routing tech and optimization tools.
• Develop KPIs for on-time delivery, cost per delivery, and route efficiency.
• Collaborate with Branch Operations, Sales, IT, and CX.
• Travel 40–50% to assess operations and coach leadership.
