Job summary

Metronet is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Outside Plant Construction to lead nationwide FTTH/FTTP construction, overseeing a large team of project managers and field staff. The role demands deep telecom construction knowledge, strategic vision, and a relentless focus on safety and quality.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Field Operations, Sales, and Legal to execute expansive networks while maintaining exceptional customer service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of combined telecommunications construction and/or network operations experience.
• 10+ years of field force management preferred.
• Technology experience implementing and improving systems and processes for management of construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality construction projects throughout the country.
• Manage multiple Project Managers who lead project teams on multi-million dollar FTTH/FTTP projects.
• Determine the design and delivery schedule of city-wide FTTH networks.
• Improve processes and reporting with technology while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safety standards and high customer service across a large field force.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal departments and external authorities and contractors.
