Job summary

Threat Tec, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Federal Capture & Acquisition Strategy to own the federal pursuit win strategy, shape requirements, and lead an AI-enabled capture capability. You will build winning teams, align primes and joint ventures, and drive intelligence-driven pursuit decisions.

You will leverage 15+ years in federal capture and a proven record of securing competitive federal deals, including DoD programs. US citizenship and clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in federal/DoD capture, business development, or acquisition with a record of winning federal pursuits.
• Deep knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and government buying decisions.
• Proven capture methodology experience (Shipley, APMP, or equivalent) and conducting color-team reviews.
• Demonstrated success structuring teaming arrangements with primes, subs, and joint ventures.
• Strong customer and stakeholder engagement skills and ability to be out front with partners.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Background in military service, government program/ acquisition roles, or the defense acquisition community.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance.
• Experience leveraging capture tools, automation, or AI-enabled capture capabilities.
• Experience mentoring and developing capture or business-development talent.

Responsibilities

• Own the federal capture strategy and win themes for assigned pursuits.
• Shape requirements and craft win themes before RFPs drop.
• Build and manage winning teaming arrangements with primes, subs, and joint ventures.
• Lead acquisition intelligence and develop call plans for buyers and stakeholders.
• Stand up and lead an AI-enabled capture capability that compounds future bids.
• Direct pursuit execution and manage capture resources and decision authority.
• Develop the bench and scale capture capability across the team.
