The role involves educating and engaging global Private Wealth and Investor Relations teams, pitching to clients, and overseeing client responses to ensure high-quality submissions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in investment or product roles with a client-service orientation, MBA/CFA preferred, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of private market evergreen vehicles and knowledge of private equity and private wealth markets.
• Excellent presentation and client engagement skills; ability to tailor information by audience.
• Strong relationship management to partner with HarbourVest Investment and Investor Relations teams and clients.
• Strong investment and analytical competence; solid written communication.
• Ability to multi-task with little supervision; entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to travel.
• Deep understanding of investment process and quantitative tools.

Responsibilities

• Support sales by bringing vehicle and market expertise to meetings with prospects and clients.
• Assist Investor Relations in discussions with private wealth prospects, clients, and institutional investors.
• Demonstrate deep market and product knowledge; articulate HarbourVest capabilities and differentiation.
• Engage externally on a broad range of business topics and market outlook.
• Contribute to responses and diligence for client submissions and RFPs.
• Collaborate with teams to shape go-to-market strategy for US evergreen products.
