CyberRisk Alliance is seeking a VP of Event Operations to lead the events operations team, overseeing live and digital formats from planning to execution. The role focuses on delivering precise event experiences across national tradeshows, virtual events, and regional gatherings for senior cybersecurity executives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of event management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel and manage onsite at events.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and event management tools.
• Proficiency in vendor management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Jublia, Brella, Swoogo).
• Proven track record delivering both live and virtual events with attention to detail.
• Interest or experience leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation in events.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations for all CRA live events, including national events and regional shows.
• Develop and execute strategic direction and portfolio planning with budgeting and venue selection.
• Supervise delegation, coordination, planning, management, and logistics of events.
• Lead and train the operations team and empower supervisors to lead portfolios.
• Own and manage relationships with vendors and show partners (ATS, agencies, venues).
• Coordinate with Event Marketing on registration strategy and data capture to guide portfolio evolution.
• Oversee event technology systems, websites, scanners, and onsite lead capture tools.
• Collaborate with design agencies to deliver impactful event branding and materials.
• Oversee pre-show planning, on-site management, and show budgets; manage show directors.
• Monitor budgets and forecast spend; ensure alignment with revenue goals.
