Job summary

Exoben Inc. is seeking a highly skilled VP, EV Charging Systems to lead the engineering of Exoben’s charging technology.

You will design and optimize charging systems, including power electronics, hardware architecture and system performance, ensuring seamless integration with energy storage and solar platforms. You will collaborate with infrastructure, software and grid teams to deliver robust charging systems for real-world environments, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and high uptime.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 12–15 years of experience in EV charging or energy systems.
  • Strong understanding of charging technologies and grid interaction.
  • Experience designing for real-world deployment and uptime.
  • Proven leadership and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and engineering of ExoBoost charging systems.
  • Oversee power electronics, system architecture and charging performance.
  • Ensure strong integration between charging systems, energy storage and solar generation.
  • Guide engineering teams on system design, efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure charging systems perform consistently under different load and environmental conditions.
  • Work closely with software teams to support monitoring, control and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support testing and validation of charging systems before deployment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve charging speed, efficiency and durability.
  • Support expansion into new markets by adapting systems to local grid conditions.
  • Build and lead a strong charging systems engineering team.
