Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking an Equities Electronic Trading Technology Production Support Lead Analyst to join our global support team on the NY trading floor. The successful candidate will provide technical support and production management for our equities E-trading applications.

The role involves hands-on work, partnering with development teams, and strong communication across regions. The position requires 5+ years in equities support, FIX knowledge, Python/Perl, Linux/Unix shell, and SQL,

Qualifications

Equities experience with 5+ years; trade floor support exposure.
Strong FIX protocol and messaging knowledge.
Proficiency in Python and Perl; applications built in Java supported.

Responsibilities

Own and provide L2 support for mission-critical Equities E-trading applications.
Collaborate with development, QA and business support teams to set priorities and ensure SLA.
Provide technical application support and monitor platforms; handle inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
Understand application processes and database schemas; troubleshoot with an investigative approach.
Recommend technical solutions during major issues based on system knowledge.
Communicate status updates to business support, regional colleagues, and dev teams.
