Citi is seeking a senior software engineer for the Equity Finance Technology team in New York to deliver Trading applications. You will collaborate with traders and technologists across locations to implement scalable solutions using Java in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Applications Development with Core Java or systems analysis role.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.

Responsibilities

• Resolve high-impact problems across complex processes and industry standards.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure adherence to architecture blueprint.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Understand how business areas integrate to achieve goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and develop solutions.
• Mentor mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
