Qualifications

• Equities experience with 5+ years in support and hands-on production role.
• Proficiency in FIX protocol, Python and Perl; SQL databases and Linux shell.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and provide L2 support for mission-critical Equities E-trading apps.
• Collaborate with development, QA and business support to set priorities.
• Provide technical application support and monitor the platform and apps.
• Understand application processes and database schema as an expert.
• Troubleshoot issues and document with standardized logs and formats.
• Offer technical recommendations for major issues based on system knowledge.
• Ensure resolution follows SLA and communicate status to stakeholders.
