Job summary

Vontier is establishing a Center of Excellence for product management, engineering, and product marketing. The Vice President, Product Excellence will lead this COE, coordinating with CPO/CTO leaders to set common standards, tools, and talent practices across businesses.

Qualifications

12–15+ years of progressive experience in product management, engineering, or product marketing leadership.
Track record of building and scaling an enterprise center of excellence or shared-services function.
Deep fluency in roadmapping, portfolio strategy, NPI/stage-gate processes, pricing, and VOC programs.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the enterprise product operating system and governance cadence.
Partner with CPOs/CTOs to ensure roadmaps and portfolio decisions are data-driven and aligned to strategy.
Maintain tools, templates, and metrics that enable decision-ready product line reviews across units.
Lead through influence with senior leaders who are not direct reports.
