Job summary

Sawnee Electric Membership Corporation seeks a Vice President of Special Projects and Emerging Technologies to lead the development, evaluation, and implementation of advanced initiatives in the electric utility space. You will work closely with the COO and senior leadership to align technical strategy with financial and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Advanced degree in business, finance or related field is preferred.
• Ten or more years of experience in engineering, construction, or operations of an electric utility or consultant is expected.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the COO.
• Oversees development, evaluation and implementation of special projects and emerging technologies.
• Engages with energy advisors/partners on energy efficiency, renewables, and load forecasting.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Advanced degree in business, finance or related field
