Job summary

Beacon Global Strategies seeks a Vice President to lead our economic security work across client portfolios, connecting clients with the right experts and delivering high-value insights. You will coordinate with regulatory professionals to advise on EAR/BIS controls, OFAC, CFIUS, and related regimes, while expanding advisory engagements across federal financing programs and defense policy.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in export controls, trade policy, federal financing or defense industrial base strategy.
• 5+ years leading and inspiring teams in a professional services, advisory or government environment.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. economic security policy across protective and affirmative dimensions.
• Established network within export controls, defense, financing and national security communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of client accounts as the primary relationship owner and drive growth.
• Advise on regulatory regimes (EAR/BIS, OFAC, FCC) and related tools (CFIUS, outbound investment screening, Entity List).
• Guide clients on federal financing and industrial strategy programs (DFC, EXIM, CTEP) and agency sequencing.
• Monitor Capitol Hill activity and brief clients on risks and opportunities.
• Develop and manage a team, provide leadership and support to build analytical depth.
• Contribute to proposals and represent the firm at senior levels to deepen engagements.
• Cover other client engagements to provide continuity or depth.
