United Migrant Opportunity Services (UMOS) seeks a Vice President of Early Care & Education to provide strategic and operational leadership for its early childhood programs across Texas, Wisconsin, and Missouri.

Reporting to the President & CEO, this executive will oversee a $40+ million portfolio, approximately 550 employees, and 14 direct reports, with responsibility for ensuring programs operate effectively and remain compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education and Head Start programs.
• Ability to lead multi-state education programs and manage complex funding.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Proven ability to build partnerships with funders and community.

Responsabilités

• Provide executive leadership for Early Care & Education programs across Texas, Wisconsin, and Missouri.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local Head Start and licensing requirements.
• Oversee a $40+ million portfolio and ~550 employees, with 14 direct reports.
• Strengthen leadership across the division and develop program leaders.
• Use performance data to drive continuous improvement and planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders and community partners.
• Collaborate with the CEO, Board and policy bodies on strategy and reporting.
