Kayne Anderson Real Estate seeks a Vice President/Director of Asset Management for Student Housing and Multifamily in the United States. The role oversees a portfolio of multifamily and student housing assets, including stabilized properties, repositioning, and redevelopment projects, reporting to the Senior Managing Director and Managing Director of Asset Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years real estate experience with 10+ years in multifamily or student housing asset management.
• Strong operational and financial analysis skills; experience with contracts and partnerships.
• Strategic thinker with proven execution capability and hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report financial and operating performance against business plans.
• Travel to portfolio properties ~2 days per week to assess condition and execution.
• Manage operating partner relationships and represent the firm in markets.
• Update revenue, expenses, and strategy in real time to maximize performance.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary processes to ensure execution of the business plan.
